SHIPPING UPDATE:
Whether you've been carefully tracking the USPS Vape Mail Ban over the last several months, or have just encountered this term for the first time, it's no secret that The Postal Service's ruling has raised a number of questions for those in the vaping community. While we will no longer be able to offer USPS as a direct consequence of these rulings, we believe that it is important to take the opportunity to explain what this means for you and for the Vape More Inc.
Effective April 21, 2021; the United States Post Office implemented new shipping regulations that prevent the delivery of all vapor products as dictated by the Federal PACT ACT. UPS, FedEx, & DHL have also all voluntarily implemented this policy and also refuse to ship vapor products. Packages that have already shipped will not be impacted by these regulations.
The good news is that we have been anticipating this announcement and alternate shipping arrangements are already in place! We have engaged alternative carriers which allow us to continue shipping orders to many of our customers in the continental United States.
We anticipate that, initially, there will be slightly longer shipping times. Especially in light of the current situation, we're proud to share that there will be no increase in shipping costs at this time, AND, we plan to do everything possible to ship the order as promptly as possible.
Unfortunately, there are ZIP codes that are currently outside of our shipping network. Even if you have ordered from us previously, we urge you to contact our customer service, to verify that your current delivery address is covered by our carriers. If your ZIP code is outside of our current network, please submit your email/phone so we can notify you as soon as shipping is available in your area as we are continuously expanding our coverage areas and creating even more methods for you to receive shipments of the vapor products you enjoy.
So, first and foremost—What is the "USPS Vape Mail Ban"?
Last spring, you might have seen in the news that the "vape mail" restriction was passed as part of the COVID relief spending bill. This new law, commonly referred to as the “PACT Act,” stipulated that vaping products would essentially be classified under the same laws that apply to combustible cigarettes. Originally, USPS was expected to make an announcement about this ruling no later than April, 27th, 2021; however, this deadline was then postponed. Recently, The Postal Service announced that the Vape Mail Ban will officially take effect on Thursday, October 21st, 2021.
The deadline has passed—What if I still need to place an order with USPS shipping?
Unfortunately, USPS will no longer be available to select in checkout as of Thursday, October 21st, 2021 for all of customers. Because the USPS shutoff deadline is set to take effect at precisely 12:01AM on Thursday, and our last round of orders will be dispatched at 2PM MST on Wednesday (prior to the deadline), we are unable to ship any orders with USPS shipping that were placed after 2PM MST on Wednesday, October 20th, 2021. We apologize for this inconvenience. Please keep in mind that this ruling was at The Postal Service's discretion, rather than the Vape More Inc's, and that we are complying with the agency's ruling.
Adult Signature Required
Due to PACT Act regulations, all orders must be shipped out adult signature required. An ID will be required upon delivery. Any adult at the delivery address who is 21 years of age or older may sign for the order.
Re-Shipping
Re-shipping orders is at the Vape More Inc's sole discretion. All re-shipped orders must be sent to the original shipping address given. If the carrier has been unable to deliver your parcel within 30 days from the date of dispatch, we may, at our sole discretion, re-ship your order. If a package is returned to sender because the carrier could not collect an adult signature and proof of ID, then Vape More reserves the right to re-ship a replacement order only after the original package has been returned to us and processed.
Incorrect Shipping Details
It is the responsibility of the customer to enter the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering. If the customer enters the incorrect or incomplete address and goods are delivered to the wrong address, we are under no obligation to issue a refund or send replacement goods. If goods are returned to us because they have been sent to the wrong address, we are not obliged to re-send them at our expense; however, a refund will be offered less the postal expense. If you notice that you have provided incorrect or incomplete details, please contact our customer service for assistance.
Shipping Restrictions
Unfortunately, we cannot ship to Alaska and Hawaii.
Additionally, we cannot ship to Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
We cannot ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
